A group of International Monetary Fund (IMF) representatives are scheduled to visit the Sri Lanka tonight (10) to study the recent trends in the country’s economy.
They will stay in the country from tomorrow (11) to the 17th, and the Ministry of Finance states that the group will study how the economic reform process will take place in the country after receiving the loan facility from the Financial Fund.
It is further reported that this delegation has planned to discuss with the President, Prime Minister as well as Finance Ministries and Central Bank officials.
