The People Registration Department says that people over 40 years of age who have not been able to get National ID cards due to the lack of a birth certificate will still have the opportunity to get National ID cards.
The Commissioner General of the Department Pradeep Saputantri states that the opportunity for that is available till the 30th of this month.
He further mentions that taking into account the requests made by the Divisional Secretaries, time has been given for forwarding the applications.
